Scott grew up rafting, climbing, and skiing in Hood River, Oregon. Since his first climbing experiences in the 90s, climbing has taken Scott to many summits of the Cascades and Sierra Nevada, up big mountains in Alaska and South America, big walls in Yosemite Valley, and many other mountain ranges and climbing areas. Scott began guiding in 2006, leading trips up 14ers in California and at this point has climbed Mt. Shasta well over 100 times. He lives in southern Oregon with his wife Becky and 5-year-old daughter Ellery.
